In an effort to take the Internet to the people and to provide its subscriber base with an enriched mobile experience, MTN Rwanda has launched a sponsored data service in partnership with mobile solutions provider U2opia Mobile. Powered by Fonepass, U2opia Mobile’s sponsored data platform is meant for subscribers with limited or no access to the internet, enabling them to explore the world of data and unlock its value at no cost for them.
In an effort to serve and bring greater convenience to its customers, MTN Rwanda has announced a partnership agreement with Rwandan bus service companies that will allow commuters going upcountry to pay their bus fares conveniently, easily and safely using MTN Mobile Money.
MTN Rwanda today handed over a cheque worth Rwf 3 million to support the families of vulnerable ex-combatants under the Rwanda Demobilization and Reintegration Commission umbrella. The cheque was received by the Minister of Local Government (MINALOC), Francis Kaboneka at the Ministry’s offices in Kacyiru.
